A military police.

--Gen. Holmes, commanding the Confederate forces in and around Fredericksburg, has established a military police for that place of which Lieut. Wm. J. Coleman; of the Bowling Green Guards, 30th, Virginia regiment, is to be Provost Marshal, All soldiers found drunk or disturbing the peace are to be arrested and summarily disposed of.
