Affecting incident.

--The Nashville Banner records the following affecting incident, which occurred a few days since in the depot of the Nashville and Louisville railroad:

A lady with her children, were waiting for the cars to start for Bowling Green, where her husband was lying ill, and to whose bedside she was hastening with all the anxiety and affection of a loving wife, She was a pale, delicate woman, in whose face the traces of care and suffering were marked. As she waited the down train came in, and it was announced to her that the husband she was so eagerly seeking was on board in his coffin, a corpse. The scenes which followed can scarce be described. It was painful in the extreme, the agony of the mother, so suddenly and heartrendingly widowed, and the cries of the orphan children. Such scenes are truly tragic, and cast a shadow and gloom over the brightest glory of war.
