For Congress!

--It is presumed that there will be no Convention to nominate a candidate to represent this District in the Congress of the Confederate States; and who that Representative will be, must be decided by the people for themselves at the polls. We therefore nominate to the voters of this, the Third District, the Henrico, the distinguished President of the Board of Public Works, as one eminently qualified, by his abilities and legislative experience in the old Congress, to represent the District so lately represented by the lamented John Tyler. Mr. Holladay will, on the day of election, receive the cordial support of many Voters.
