The weather.

The weather, which has been unsettled and damp and rainy for some days, yesterday became decidedly stormy. A great deal of rain and hail fell, and the wind blew at times violently. It must have suspended hostilities generally, and placed the Burnside expedition in a most uncomfortable predicament, as it was on one of the most stormy and dangerous of coasts.
