Napoleon Proposes to Exchange the Mexican throne with Austria for Venice.

--The Barsenhalls, of Ramburg, publishes the following extract from a letter from Venice:

‘ "It is confidently stated that the project of the accession of the Archduke Maximilian to the throne of Mexico was made the subject of confidential communications between the Ministers of the Government of Austria and the French Government, If we are well informed, the Cabinet of Vienna has recently charged Prince Metternich to give such an answer to the French propositions, without absolutely declining them, as may leave doubt that the Austrian Government will never entertain the idea of making any acquisitions in Mexico a ground for negotiating a transfer of Venice."
