--The High Constable of the city has removed from the county jail the man, William Blankinship, charged with feloniously shooting George Crowe, in Sidney, about ten days since. It will be remembered that the wounds of Crowe mortified and he died.--Prior to that event, Blankinship had been committed to the county jail, and afterwards being examined by two justices, has been sent on to a called Court, to be examined for felonious shooting. The death of Crowe occurring within one mile of the city limits, acting Coroner Sanxay held an inquest over the remains, the jury returning a verdict that he came to his death by wounds inflicted by Blankinship. On the rendition of the verdict, the High Constable, at the Mayor's request, removed the prisoner to the city jail. He was carried to the City Hall yesterday, but no examination was had into the circumstances connected with the affair.
