Taking care of the Spirits.

--The Provost Marshall has adopted the very sensible expedient of taking charge of all liquor owned by parties whose inclination and taste might induce them to violate the provisions of the President's proclamation forbidding its sale. A large lot of liquor in Madison Ward was thus taken in charge yesterday. Receipts are given by the Government, and the stuff is stowed away to be delivered up in more propitious times than the present.
