--Several of the companies of this command have been subjected to the slight confusion that has pervaded all the companies recruiting, since the Governor's recent proclamations. But, we are pleased to know, the battalion is now getting on finely and bids fair to be organized in due time. It promises to be a very desirable command, and will be second to none in its equipments. As none of the companies of this battalion are receiving substitutes, the prospect is that their complement of men will be obtained from the class of patriotic men, that will meet public expectation.
