Attention is called to the notice in another column from the Treasurer of the Soldiers' Aid Fund, which is very important to the poor women and children of the city who have husbands and fathers in the service. No aid can be given without a compliance with the notice, and Captains of companies should immediately send their lists as required. The dispensation of this fund gives a great deal of trouble to the committee, and, without system, it is impossible to know who should receive benefit from it. The lists called for are indispensably necessary, and Captains will be much to blame who neglect to send them to the Treasurer promptly.
