Unfortunate affair.

--On Tuesday week, Doctor Beasley, Assistant Surgeon of the Thirteenth Georgia Regiment, ventured to approach, in a small boat, one of our pickets below Savannah, when he was mistaken by our men for one of the enemy's scouts, and was fired upon. One of the musket balls passed through his leg about four inches above the ankle, crushing the bone in a shocking manner.
