Dig wells.

--Very little, if any, ice was made the past winter in this part of the Lord's rural vineyard, and the only show we have for cool water during the ensuing summer seems to be from wells, any number of which might be sunk in this city to the decided advantage of the health of the people. If they don't attend to the matter in their individual capacities, the city should take it in hand. The Council has been asked to order wells to be sunk, but have as yet paid no attention to the subject, though it is one that each day makes more pressing.
