The prospects

of a battle at an early day we consider very good, having heard an order read out last evening in this city, from a General of Division, to send to camp under guard all soldiers in the different guard-houses, and all soldiers and officers who could be found walking about the city who were able to do duty. This was with a view to return them to the regiments to which they respectively belong.
