--Sterling S. Hopkins, a resident of Crawford, county, Ala, was found dead in his field a few days ago, under circumstances which indicate He was found in a sitting posture, with handkarchief tied round his neck, twisted tightly by of a pine knot fastened in the handkerchief the back of his neck, by which means it is suppossed he strangled himself to death.
