The Enemy has entered East Tennessee through Wilson's Gap, and at last accounts was making his way up Powell's Valley, which extends into Virginia. A furious and speedy attack should be made at once, in order to protect the Said Works and the Virginia and Tennessee railroad. Doubtless our Government is fully awake to the necessity of the case. Rumors of the presence and doings of the enemy in Virginia are perhaps exaggerated.
