Paroled for Exchange.

--On Saturday, Capt. Chas. J. Whiting. of the 5th U. S. cavalry, was paroled to return home and effect a special exchange of himself for Capt. Geo. R. Smith, C. S. A., who was taken prisoner at Rich Mountain last summer and paroled by the enemy, and who was thought long since to have been exchanged, measures having been taken to that end months since. There is hardly a doubt but that the Federal Captain will succeed in his mission.
