Gen. Hocker.

The Yankees have got a new hero in one of the Federal Generals who figured in their late defeat at Fredericksburg, whom they designate by the pet name of "fighting Joe Hooker." In what wars or battles he achieved that title we are not informed. The name of Hooker, however, suggestive as it is of a thieving and blundering army. If they have got any warriors by the names of Jonathan Wild or Dick Turpia they ought to be made Generals of Division in the grand army of patit larceny rogue who are let loose upon the South.
