Two hundred Dollars reward.

--The following Negroes runaway from the Carbon Hill Mines, in this county, on the 15th inst., viz:

Harry Williams, a dark-brown negro, 5 feet 9½ inches in height, not very stout, good looking about 32 years old, varicose veins in both legs, left leg most affected, lately purchased from Green county, N. C.

Ben Williams, dark brown, 5 feet 6 inches high, very stout, round face, very likely, about 25 years old, just recovered from a serious attack of pneumonia, lately purchased from Jones & Slater, and came from Green county, N. C.

Jim Lawrence, a black negro, 5 feet 3 inches in height, remarkably broad across the shoulders, and powerfully made, about 30 or 32 years old, good teeth, countenance indicating shrewdness and rascality, a shot mark in the right leg, lately purchased, and came from near Goldsborough, N. C.

George Holt, a brown negro, 5 feet 8 inches high, about 15 years old, good teeth, eyes rather close together, not stout, has a rear from a severe wound inside of his left hand, was a fireman on one of the North Carolina railroads for four years, comes from Goldsborough, N. C.

Ryall Griffin, (or Rhias) a light brown negro, 5 feet 7 inches in height, round shoulders, heavy brown, slim figure, and indifferent looking, was under medical treatment when he left for a chronic disease is about 32 years old, came from near Goldsborough, N. C.

Jim is no doubt the leader of the party, and is probably endeavoring to reach the Yankee lines near Goldsborough. They carried an axe with them.

For the apprehension and delivery to me in Richmond of either of these negroes I will pay $10 if taken in this city or county; $20 if taken in an adjoining county; or $40 if taken up thirty miles from Richmond in any direction.
