The raid to Murfreesboro', N. C.

--We have already noticed that three gunboats came up to Murfreesboro' last Friday. The damage done by them was not as serious as at first stated. Of the 10,000 pounds of bacon there, belonging to the Confederate Government, the Yankees took about 5,000 pounds aboard their boats, and, at the suggestion of a citizen, gave the remainder to the poor of the place; which poor, after the enemy left, turned it over to our commissary. A few chairs were taken from the Female College, but the pianos were not taken, as stated.
