--Amongst a number of prisoners brought from Staunton on Saturday was Sampson Shrieves, sent down as a bushwhacker, murderer, and robber.
He was arrested a few months since by order of Gen. Jones, and will be tried here by Court Martial.
The prisoner was sent down in irons.
