Blockade Sale.

--The cargo of the British steamer Britannia, consisting of a fine assortment of dry goods, medicines, etc., was disposed of by auction at Charleston on Thursday last. The Charleston papers say that many of the articles were sold at a lower price than was obtained at previous sales, and the impression was that there was a general want of spirit in the bidding. There were some exceptions, however, and one very useful article--French calfskin — brought the enormous price of $450 per dozen. The large number of arrivals at Charleston and Wilmington, which has lately taken place, has had a depressing influence.
