--Francis P. Blair, Jr., son of F. P. Blair, of Miscomi, appeared before the Mayor yesterday to answer the charge of stealing sundry articles of wearing apparel from Capt. John. Tayloe, but as the Captain failed to answer as a witness the prisoner was discharged. Blair, as we are informed, was Lieutenant in the Federal army and was taken prisoner at Chancellorsville. When about being forwarded here for exchange he declined going North, took the earth of allegiance to the Southern Confederacy, and has since joined a cavalry coipt.
