From Charleston

Charleston, July 28
--Everything is progressing Favorably. About 27 vessels of all kinds, including the Ironsides and the monitors, are lying below. A few more transports arrived yesterday. Some 20 vessels are reported in the Stone river.

A brig, which had run aground, was stripped by the Yankees yesterday afternoon.

One man was killed and another wounded by a shell at the Point battery this morning. There has been heavy shelling all day.

--The bombardment was a little more spirited to-day. The Ironsides and two monitors took part. Two men killed on our side — none wounded.
