Playing ghost.

--On Monday night Juline Saul, a sailor in the Confederate service, was shot in the arm while playing ghost for his own and the amusement of a comrade. It seems that Saul had been attempting to impress upon the mind of a certain landlady in Rocketts that her establishment was haunted, averring that he had himself seen ghosts walking about the premises. The old lady became somewhat uneasy, and secured the services of two young men to watch for the visitors. During the night Saul and a comrade, arrayed in spotless white, made their appearance as regular ghosts, and in that capacity attempted to frighten the watchmen from their posts. One of them blazed a way as the "spirits," and lodged the content of a pistol in Saul's arm, inflicting a painful flash wound.
