Statue of Rachel.

--M. Duret, a sculptor of talent, has just finished a noble statue of M'lle Rachel, ordered by the French Government for the new saloon of the French Comedy. She is represented in the opening scene of her best, her favorite part. Phedra just as she has sunk into the seat weighed down by the conflict between her distress and her aversion for crime.
