--A gentleman just from Vicksburg says that Osterhaus commands the post at the Big Black bridge, and that no persons are allowed to pass the Federal lines, in or out, under any circumstances, including ladies.
Numbers have been turned back.
The Federals are hauling cotton in large quantities from points east of Big Black.
