Bound over.

--John Cummings, a private watchman at Mr. Ferguson's store, on Pearl street, was arrested on Wednesday night last in a drunken and disorderly condition. It was given in evidence that Cummings approached a city watchman and stated that he wanted a two dollar note changed, as he had arrested a negro and had been promised a dollar by him if he would let him off. The watchman declined changing the money and went on lighting up the lamps; but had not gone far before C. became very disorderly, and was arrested. The Recorder bound him over in the sum of $300 to keep the peace for 12 months.
