--The following robberies were committed in this city on Saturday and Sunday nights last:

The dry goods store of Levi Hexter. No. 90 Main street, near the corner of 14th street, was broken into from the rear on Saturday night, and robbed of about $4,000 worth of dry goods.

The tailoring and repairing store of a Bissau, on 6th street, between Broad and Grace, was forcibly entered and robbed the same night of a lot of ready-made clothing and other articles of value. Mr. B's loss will amount to about $900.

The residence of Mr. Sinbblefield, on the upper end of Franklin street, was also entered on Sunday night and a large amount of provisions, such as bacon, lard, butter, &c. stolen.

Major S. B. French's residence was entered on Saturday night and robbed of a considerable lot of liquors, silverware, sugar, con, &c. In this instance the thief (a negro) was arrested.
