--A friend suggests that the late phenomenon witnessed in the atmosphere in Western Virginia of armies marching in the sky may be of happy augury.
The armies are described as marching on the double quick to the North, and as being without arms. Let us hope that it prognosticates the speedy return of the vandals, deprived of their means of destruction, to their own homes.
