Death of Brig. Gen. Marsh Walker Confirmed.

--The Mobile Tribune learns from a gentleman who was present at the duel fought between Generals Marmaduke and Walker, on Sunday, the 8th ult., that the latter was shot in the right side on the second fire, from the effect of which he died on the Tuesday morning following. The weapons used were navy revolvers at fifteen paces, to fire and advance. After Gen. Walker's death his commission arrived promoting him to the rank of Major General. His death was extremely regretted by as immense number of friends in Arkansas.
