--Between the house of seven and eight o'clock yesterday morning a fire broke out in the rear room of Schriever & Co's Ink factory, on 7th street, between Main and Cary, but was discovered and extinguished before doing serious damage. The fire, it is believed, originated from a spark falling into the lamp-black kiln, which blazed up and act the roof on fire. The flames spread to the roof of Mr. J. H. Crenshaw's stable, but were speedily extinguished. Messrs. Schriever & Co's loss will be about $900.
