The President at Atlanta

Atlanta, Oct. 28.
--President Davis arrived here to-day on his return from the West. His visit extended to Jackson, Miss., where he addressed the people from the State House. He returned via Mobile, Pollard, and Montgomery. His reception everywhere was enthusiastic, and evinced on the part of the people a cordial support of the Government and cause. At Pollard he reviewed Clawton's brigade of exempts, and received one of the most gratifying receptions of his whole tour. He leaves to-morrow for Macon and Savannah.
