High water.

--Owing to the recent heavy rains, all the streams throughout this section have risen considerably. The Congress has the appearance of a young ocean, as the low lands are all under water. A dispatch was received yesterday stating that the Augusta train was unable to get through, as a trestle had been washed away. At a late hour last night the Greenville had not arrived, and it is generally believed that the road has been damaged. --Columbia ( S. C.) Carolinian.
