Acquittal of Capt. Alexander.

--The labors of the Court of Inquiry in the case of Capt. George W. Alexander, late commandant at Castle Thunder, in this city, against whom grave charges had been preferred, have terminated with the verdict--"the charges not sustained by the evidence. " The investigation was a long and searching one, and held at Capt. Alexander's request.
