Found dead in his room.

--Bernard Hagan a well known citizen, was early yesterday morning found dead lying on the floor of his room at his residence on 2d street, near the City Almshouse. For some time past his health has been falling, but he persistently refused to call in medical advice. His death is believed to have been the result of a want of proper care and attention to his health.

Coroner Sanxay was summoned to view the body, and, upon learning the circumstances, considered an inquest unnecessary.
