Exchange of prisoners.

--Col. Ould. and Capt. Hatch, of the Exchange Bureau, returned on Saturday evening from their trip to Fortress Monroe, where they had an interview with Gen. Butler. Nothing authentic has transpired of the result of their negotiations. We have, however, heard sufficient to induce us to believe that within this month the exchange of prisoners will be actively renewed. It is said Butler boasted of his attachment to the Democratic party, and expressed his admiration for Jeff. Davis. It is stated that one thousand of the convalescent Federal prisoners here will be sent home this week.
