--It has been mentioned that one Simon Greenburg had a trunk containing one hundred and twenty pounds of sugar stolen from him at the Petersburg Depot.--On Saturday, a negro named Bill Jenkins, was brought before the Mayor charged with being the thief, and it being proved that he was seen to throw the trunk into his wagon and drive off, he was ordered to be whipped. Nothing has been heard of the sugar.
