Three hundred Dollars reward.
--Ran away on the 6th March, my negro man John. He is 26 years old, 5 feet 7 or 8 inches high, very short built; has a round face, high forehead, full head of hair, and of good countenance, very black, and he is a black smith; had on when he left jeans pantaloons blue jacket, and a pair of boots; he was raised in Powhatan county by Philip St George Cooks. He purchased him of John R Sedgwick in December last. I will give the above reward for him delivered to Lee & Bowman, Richmond, Va, or to me at Wytheville, Va.
