--Information from Trans-Mississippi confirms the former rumors of a battle between Price and Steele, in which the Confederates gained a complete victory. Steele is said to have lost an entire wagon train.

Nothing further from the fight in East Louisiana.

The cars resume their regular trips to Brandon Sunday.
