Hail storm

--On Wednesday afternoon, the 18th instant, a portion of Marion District, S C--West, South and East of the Court-House — was visited by a severs hall storm which, in its course, destroyed nearly every vestige of vegetation in the field and the garden. It commenced in the neighborhood of Mar's Bluff, and extended about twenty miles in an East south easterly direction. Fortunately its width was not great. The hall remained unflawed several days. One of the sufferers informs the Marion Star that, in a drift on his place, the hail was two feet deep on Friday, the 20th instant.
