--The room occupied by Dr Broocks, corner of Main and 12th streets, was entered yesterday during his absence, and robbed of some $2,0.0 worth of bacon, sugar, boots, shoes, and other articles.
The thief made use of a poker which he found in the room, to prize open a wardrobe containing the property.
