Soldiers' children.

--Rev. A. E. Dickinson delivered an address at the Rocks, Appomattox county, and collected one thousand seven hundred dollars, to be used in educating the children of deceased soldiers. Within a few days the appeals of Rev. Mr. Dickinson, the general agent of this cause, have been responded to by the contribution of about twelve thousand dollars.
