--The case of the Commonwealth
, indicted for felony, was adjourned until the next term of the court, and they were recognized for their appearance at that time.
The trial of James Clark
and James H. Miller
, who were indicted for stealing a horse, was postponed until Wednesday next, the 2d of October.
, who stands indicted for the murder of Ignatius H. Allen
on the 28th of June last, was then set to the bar, and after the examination of witnesses, the jury, after retirement, returned a verdict of not guilty.

were assigned as counsel to the prisoner (she appearing in court unrepresented by any)--John B. Young
