Arrested as a spy.

--Miss Mary Pitt, hailing from Isle of Wight county, Virginia, was committed to Castle Thunder on Saturday upon the charge of being a person of suspicious character and a spy — Miss Pitt has been in the habit of traveling back and forth to Norfolk from her home whenever she pleased, and is accused of having busied herself making inquiries as to the sentiments of her neighbors and reporting them to the Yankee authorities. She is also said to have been very in her expression towards the Confederacy, and, when arrested, had on her person several letters and passports from Yankee officers.
