A relief fund in Fayetteville.

--Forty-one thousand three hundred and fifty-five dollars and fifty cents has been subscribed in Fayetteville, North Carolina, for the relief of the indigent of that town during the present and approaching season. With the means thus provided, the managers of the fund have secured five hundred cords of wood, and will, from time to time, obtain the requisite supply of food [These "tar-heel" towns do not stop half way when they commence a good work.]
