Murder of a Woman.

--Between 10 and 11 o'clock on Thursday night a woman, named Mrs. Mary Hanley, was murdered by William Daley. The accused had a difficulty a few minutes before with some person in the neighborhood, and, retiring into the street, raised his musket and fired upon the defenceless Mrs. Hanley as she was proceeding into her back-yard, striking her in the head and scattering her brains in every direction. A coroner's inquest was held yesterday morning, under the superintendence of Coroner Little, but beyond the facts as stated above no other evidence was elicited, and the matter was continued until this morning.
