--The following parties were arrested yesterday afternoon by the Mayor's police and committed to the lower station-house: ‘
Jane Harris, a free negro, charged with stealing a lot of ladies' wearing apparel, the property of Mrs. Mary A. Brown. ’
Thomas, slave of Gideon Garber, for assaulting and beating with a stick, Patrick Nolin, a white man.
The cases will be investigated before the Mayor this morning.
