--A mare belonging to Captain Simmons, of Benning's brigade, was stolen, on Saturday morning last, from a rack to which she was tied, on Main street. The Captain had only a few minutes before dismounted and gone into a saddle manufactory for the purpose of making some purchase, and when he came out his animal had been driven off.
