--On Friday evening last, as a negro man, named Winston Wingfield, was attempting to enter the gate of West & Brother, on Main, between Seventh and Eighth streets, he fell from his wagon, and being jammed between the vehicle and the wall, was very seriously injured. Dr. Peterfield Trent, who never neglects the calls of the needy, or refuses to furnish medicine if required, was sent for, and rendered the necessary surgical aid. He found no bones broken, but the man's body was much bruised, and he is now confined to his bed and suffering considerably.
