The Remains of Major R. Channing Price arrived yesterday, and were interred at Hollywood. They were escorted by many of his former comrades to their place of rest.

To those who knew this gallant officer, we can say but little that would add to his praise. His noble, upright and amiable character is too well known to need further eulogy. He entered the army as a private in the Richmond Howitzers, and had risen to the rank of major on the staff of the lamented Stuart, at the time of his death.
