Free labor cotton.

--The Nashville Union says:

‘ "The German farmers of Texas have again raised a cotton crop of superior quality to any grown by slave labor. It is of a cleaner, fairer fabric, and will bring the highest market price. When the farmer works his own cotton it is tended and handled at every stage with the utmost care; and this care brings out the greatest skill. The delusion that cotton cannot be cultivated by free labor is getting rapidly disproved by actual experiment. It is probable that free labor will produce more and better cotton than has ever been raised before."
